Melksham Town Council are working alongside Melksham Without Parish Council and the Friends of Shurnhold Field to make every aspect of Shurnhold Fields as eye catching as possible.

Melksham Town Council are creating a network of groups, clubs and charities in the Melksham area to share skills, advice and information.
There are over 170 groups that provides services, activities and crucial social connections for people in Melksham, and we want to support them by providing opprtunities to learn and share with each other so that we can best serve the people in Melksham.

All kinds of organisations, from local authorities to charities, use the information to help provide the services we all need, including transport, education and healthcare.
Melksham Town Council are pleased to be taking over the King George V Playing Fields and are proposing a programme of investment that will see the park rejuevenated for all generations to enjoy. The Council have completed extensive consultations throguhout 2018 and are looking forward to brining the new plans to life, starting in Spring 2019.
