Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Urgent Closure of: Semington Road (Part), Melksham WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 18th May 2020, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Tarmac on behalf of Wiltshire Council to carry out Hand patching works in the carriageway. Semington Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Waverley Gardens to its junction with Hazelwood Road. Alternative route: via Semington Road (unaffected length) - A350 Western Way - A363 Western Way - Spa Road High Street - King Street - Semington Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. These works will commence on 18th May 2020 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
