Urgent Closure of: Dunch Lane (Part), Melksham

THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 13 January 2020, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway hand patching and associated maintenance works.

Phase 1 Dunch Lane (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Southbrook Road to its junction with A350. Phase 2 Dunch Lane (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A365 to its junction with Addison Road.

Alternative route: Phase 1 - via South A350 – Farmers Roundabout – North A350 – A365 – Roundpond – Southbrook road and vice versa.

Phase 2 – via Addison Road – Roundpond – A365 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible.

These works will commence on 13 January 2020 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
