Wiltshire 10 Running Race Road Closures

Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Closure of: Various Roads, Melksham (Devizes ‘Wilshire 10’ Running Event) (Ref: TTRO 6381)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order toTemporarily close to all traffic:

a) A3102 Lowbourne (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Ruskin Avenue to its junction with Sandridge Road.

b) A3102 Sandridge Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Lowbourne to its junction with Church Lane.

c) C398 Blackmore Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Sandridge Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 90 metres.

To enable: Stampede Sports LTD to carry out ‘Wiltshire 10’ Running Race

Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length) – Eastern Way – Melksham Relief Road – Snowberry Lane – Spa Road – A365 – A350 and vice versa

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 09 February 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:50 and 10:10 for one day. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
