MONDAYS
7.30pm-9.30pm: Do you want to experience English Folk Dancing? Why not join us? It’s good fun & good exercise. Just come along to one of our meetings at the Riverside Club, Bath Road or contact Geoff on 703650.

10.00am-11.45am: Little Teddies Toddler Group, Baptist Church Room, Old Brought-on Road, Melksham. Come along & join us.

10.00am-2.00pm: Open House at Queensway Chapel in Pembroke Road. Friend-ship, food, conversation, advice & a listening ear. All welcome, every Tuesday.

WEDNESDAYS
10.00am-12.00pm: Bowerhill Toddlers for 0-4 year olds meet at Bowerhill Village Hall. All welcome. Contact Stacy on 01225 790129 for more details.

10.30am-12.00pm: Little Fishes Toddler Group, 0-3 years every Wednesday in the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Union Street. All welcome. Contact Jane on 01225 705873 for more information.

7.00pm: (last Wednesday of each month) Forest Tenants and Residents Association meeting at Awdry Avenue Football Club.. All welcome.

First Wednesday at 8.00pm:The Melksham Climate Friendly Group: We are a voluntary community group made up of local people, who aim to bring about an awareness of climate change and ways that Melksham residents can be more friendly to their environment. Our meetings are held at the Spencer's Sports Social Club, Beanacre Road, Melksam. Please feel free to come along - new members always welcome! You will find us in the Committee Room at the back behind the Skittle Alley, just ask at the bar. Our contact email address is: melkshamcfg@yahoo.co.uk.

Second and Fourth Wednesdays at 7.30pm: St. Michaels' Wives Group, meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7-30pm in the Parish Rooms, Canon Square,from the 4th Wed. in September to the 2nd Wed. in July. Visitors are always welcome.

Third Wednesdays at 8.00pm (except December): Grecophiles Social Club for lovers of Greece, at The Bear Restaurant, 3 Bath Road. £6.50 including mini-meze. Tel 01225 709907 Sylvia Cook or email sylvia@greekofile.co.uk by previous day to book.

Last Wednesday at 8.00pm:Royal Air Force Association meet on the last Wednesday of every month at the Conservative Club, Melksham.

2.30pm-3.30pm: Songs of Praise at Queensway Chapel in Pembroke Road. An occasion to worship God together as we sing favourite hymns, followed by an opportunity for a chat afterwards over a cuppa. A warm welcome awaits you.

7.30pm: Bingo at the Royal British Legion. Eyes down at 7.30pm. Money prizes. All welcome.

FRIDAYS
11.00am-12.00pm: Melksham Breast is Best Supporters (BIBS) meeting in the Old Nursery (the bungalow) at Lowbourne Infant School. Come & join us for coffee and a chat if you are a breastfeeding Mum or Mum-to-be. Pre-school siblings very welcome.

SATURDAY
10.00am and 12.30pm: (last Saturday of each month) Toy Library at Thornbank (off King Street). Open to families, carers, childminders, pre-schools, etc of pre-school children living in and around Melksham.

Natural History and Lifecycle of the honeybee. A basic study of the three different castes of honeybee.

10.00am-12.00pm: Relax with a cup of tea or coffee at a Lee Abbey Coffee Morning being held at St Michael’s Church room. Proceeds will go towards new community accommodation at Lee Abbey in Devon.

TUESDAY 15TH

THURSDAY 17TH
Evening: Melksham & District Historical Association present The Life & Times of Sir Christopher Wren - an illustrated talk by Norman Thorne. The Ken Merret Memorial Lecture.

SATURDAY 19TH
10.00am-12.00pm: Coffee and table-top sale at Methodist Church, Top Lane, Whitley. Help us to cover the cost of replacing our schoolroom roof whilst enjoying a coffee and chat. Stalls include: cakes, books, toys, white elephant and more.

FRIDAY 25TH
1.30pm: Open afternoon at Bowerhill Primary School to launch the Early Years Activity Area. Bring your preschool children along for some fun and games in the new outdoor area. Refreshments provided.

THE CLOTH ROAD ART WEEK.
There will be Melksham artists around the town opening up their homes to exhibit their work during this week aswell as artists in surrounding towns and villages.
