Melksham Area Community Safety Group
The Melksham Area Community Safety Group is an effective forum for airing concerns from the local community. With representation from Town and Parish Councils, Police, Selwood Housing Society, Schools, Youth Development and other local organisations, the group explores and agrees actions addressing these concerns.The group meets with Neighbourhood Policing Team every 3 months to plan ahead for the next 3 months. CSG meetings are held on a regular basis at the Town Hall and cobined CSG/NPT meetings are held in the Assembly Hall.

The purpose of the site is to ultimately provide the UK with a huge counselling support network, enabling those in distress to find a counsellor close to them and appropriate for their needs. This is a free, confidential service that will hopefully encourage those in distress to seek help. The website also contains a number of sections on emotional disorders (types of distress section) and provides some useful statistics. The Melksham Pearlies
A husband and wife team who entertain throughout Wiltshire, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. We wear pearly costumes and we sing many of the traditional Cockney and other songs. Has been a community centre established in 1980, originally it was a Congregational Church and takes its name from Miss Rachel Fowler, a church benefactor. The group was set up back in January 2012, as a means of meeting like-minded people in the area, who share a love for writing.
