Melksham and District Health Survey
"HEALTH NEEDS QUESTIONNAIRE"
During
October and November 2002 the Melksham Health Needs
Questionnaire was sent out to the public via Doctors Surgeries,
Chemists, The Town Hall and the Tourist Information Centre.
The
closing date for replies to the Questionnaire was November
20th 2002.
The
Questionnaire contained 20 questions relating to healthcare
facilities and services within Melksham District.
The
initial results have been collated and are available to view
by clicking on the buttons on the right of this page. The
results
will display in a separate window. They are separated into
age categories:
"Under 21", "21 to 40", "41 to
65", "65 to 80" and "Over 80"
each age group then has 5 sections:
"Adults", "Parents of Dependent Children",
"Carer", "Disabled" and "Frequent
User of Health Services"
Each respondent was asked to tick their age group and which
section applied to them. If more than one box was ticked then
the results were entered in the relevant sections.
The
questions that were included in the form are displayed along
the
top of the results page. Question 16 asked "What additional
healthcare
services would you like to be provided locally". As this
was a written
reply and not just "ticking a box" the results to
this question will be
evaluated and published at a later date.
